Chubby Chops

Given a choice of a healthy lunch or jam donuts I chose...

That's why I'm the same shape as one, but only round the middle. The rest of me is the right shape.

Saddington

Contrary to the weather forecast it's a lovely day for car booting.
My cat and I got some bargains too.

New Guitar

So here it is, the finished article. It's taken some fine wire wool and linseed oil on the neck and frets. Some light wax polish on the body. New machine heads and strings put the finishing touches to a nice instrument.
The whole thing has cost me about forty quid.
I think it was worth it.

Old Guitar

I bought this old guitar for three pounds in a recycling yard. As you can see it's in a bit of a sorry state.
Over the next few hours I'm going to try and bring it back to life.
Here goes, wish me luck.

Vertigo

If you ever wondered why High Wycombe was so named now you know why.
It's a long way up on either side of the town.
All I've got to do now is work out how to get down again.

Hiding Away

I know it's been a while since I blogged but I've been doing stuff like getting to grips with my new phone.
It's mostly sorted now but there are a couple of things to iron out.
Anyway, I'm back so that has to be a good thing.

This is the poshest place in Stamford, and expensive too. It's also a bit Withnal and I, let me explain.
It's posh but with a veneer of utter working class brushed over the top. It's also a bit gay with respectability. The gents private cubicles have a frosted glass panel in each door.
Need I say more.

The train has just left Melton Mobray and is on it's way to Stamford where my cat and I will get off.
The weather is holding out so it should be a nice day.
