iFun

I just thought I'd send this quick post to let you know that my studio PC is online and working and synced with my iPod and all that stuff.
I'll get back to the dull stuff again tomorrow. Sorry for the break in transmission.

...My Studio

OK, so I took this picture last night but you might as well take a look.
I'm so happy that it's all up and running. I'll be spending tonight getting it online. I didn't want it online but it's unavoidable. I've got some good protection software which is essential. I also need access to iTunes.
It's all techno-a-go-go.

Mellow Yellow

I've got a great view today.
It's got cows in it, that yellow stuff and other things you'd find in the countryside.
It's good, but not as good as...

We Just Love Tacky

Oh yes!
My ThumbTacks mic arrived today. That now makes my iPod Touch a fully functioning audio recorder. Along with the editing software I've just bought from the app store my micro studio is pretty much complete.
Expect a podcast soonish. I'll do one just for fun.
The man called me today to tell me my PC is ready. More on that tomorrow.

Fractal

I made this fractal.

Synced

All cased up and full of entertainment.
My iPod Touch arrived yesterday and I've spent a considerable amount of time getting it ready for a week on the road with me. I've got music, apps and games to keep me going along with podcasts and audio books. I'll grab a couple more apps when my mic arrives and I'll start some kind of podcast.
Get ready for a fun week.

Polished Again

You may remember the classical guitar revamp.
This is the acoustic revamp. It's going to be as good as the classical. I spent 3 hours on this one too. It'll be good when the strings settle in about 4 weeks time.
What a good way to spend an evening.

New Experience

There's a small pure vegetarian take away van near work.
I've just been there for my lunch and it was ace. I can only stare at most food places so long before I have to try them.
I'm glad I made a move today.

Stupid

I'm such a dope sometimes.
I've parked up in my street for my lunch but I left my keys and bank card at work. I could be inside my house buying my iPod Touch. Never mind, I'll do it tonight as planned.
I'm still smiling at my lack of forethought. I've always got my keys with me.
Ho hum.

They're Great!

What's great?
Well, tech toys for a start. I'll be ordering my iPod Touch tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to that.
Another thing that's great are tigers. They make Frosties in the jungle for me to eat on my lunch break. Tony the tiger is in charge, that's him in the picture.
I like Tony and he says he likes me too.

I Like This

I pass this building every morning and I think it's great.
I'm not sure what era it's from, maybe the sixties. It both looks out of place and fits its environment. It stands out in a good way.
I wish there were more like it.

Waiting

The time is nearly here.
I've only got three days to go before I order my iPod Touch. I've had to wait four months but the wait is soon to be over.
I'm buying it to make music on and my lunchtimes will be spent being creative instead of sleeping.
I can't wait.

Buzzin'

No beer all weekend, late night last night in Browns and still up in time to go to Croft.
When I was at school and some kid shouted "Pile on!" I usually got buried under a load of my peers as I was wondering around looking for the object in the picture above.
No wonder I'm damaged.

Sunday Road

I'm usually driving down this road on a Sunday with My Cat.
This road takes up to Market Harborough to see if there are any bargains to be had. We used to get eggs but the cafe can't make My Cat's eggs properly so we don't do that anymore.
Easter is over and the worst of the garden is done but it needs more work. I'm back to work today.
It's great to be blogging from the roadside again.

Nice Weather

Finally the rain has stopped and where am I?
Lamport Hall, that's where. Not in the garden getting on with some work but mooching around car boots and antique fairs with My Cat.
Hopefully the weather will hold out until I get home.
Here's hoping.

Doing

The blossom is on the trees so it must be spring.
You can also tell it's spring because there's a four day bank holiday coming up and the wind and rain has arrived. Considering that I have to turn a jungle into a garden the weather is bad news.
You can chart my gardening progress here but chances are you'll be having way too much fun.
Wish I could join you.

I Dunno

Here's a sign for foreign drivers.
It says No parking on verge. Because I don't speak foreign I don't know what day verge is. For all I know it could be today, a Wednesday. Maybe it doesn't apply to of at all because I'm English.
If you know what day verge is then let me know and I won't park here on that day.

Stop It

This is nougat.
You say it nuggat. Some people say it like noogar which is pretentious and wrong. If you call nougat noogar then stop it, it drives me mad.
Don't even get me started on Nestle.

Chicken Dinner

The colonel is smiling because my lunch was one of his meals.
My friend Jas likes KFC dinners but he hasn't had one in a while because he's good at cooking and makes curry dinners these days. My Cat used to sneak in a KFC on the way home but she's not eating meat anymore.
I think I had to have a meat dinner today after having to pass on the rat breakfast the cats left for me.
Good job I remembered that after eating.

The Future Is Brighton

I'm in Brighton in a bar called The Fish Bowl.
My Cat and I are saying farewell to to our friend Joey who is off to Oz. We're already on a few drinks but there are more to come.
Here's to friends.

World Of Wonder

I've been waiting to get a picture of some sheep for a while so that I can share an amazing fact I learned recently.
The reason that groups of birds and sheep are both called flocks is that sheep used to have wings and could fly. It was their main defence against predators. Over time they lost their wings and their feathers changed to wool.
Early christians adopted the lamb of god because of the animals ability to accend to the heavens.
You learn something new every day.
