In Theory

This is the book I've been reading for ages. I'm preparing for my class two test.
There's still lots more practising to do but I've overcome the first hurdle which was to read the book.

Rat-A-Tat

This is the boss of the whole warehouse where I work. He's very good with palets and stuff but not so great with computers.
Here he is about to tap on the roof of his house in Multimap. He's trying to get his family to go outside to see who's tapping on the roof.
Little does he know that he'll have to clean up a living room full of soot when he gets home.

Fun For Dos

Bank holiday Monday.
Hmm. It could have been awful but it isn't. Croft was cancelled but we fought through a blizzard to get to Saddington and although it was a bit poor we still found a bargain.
My power amp wouldn't work but Maplin was open and the amp soon fixed.
I traded some PS3 games and got Gran Turismo 5, result!
And here we are My Cat and I enjoying some nice wine on the strip.
Couldn't be better.

Even though my new spider plant is having babies and is more than likely a Roberta I've decided to call it Robert.
Not bad for a 4.99 plant from Homebase. I'll keep you informed about the babies when it's time.

A Diluted Day

A rain sodden car park in Leicester is about as good as it gets.
The Croft car boot was rained off but My Cat and I made up for it with some decent bargain hunting and a fab breakfast in Market Harborough.
I just need to find a spider plant now and I won't care about the rain.

Goodbye Direby

This is the view out of the train window as we pull out of Derby. It was a last minute decision to go there and a bad one too.
The shops were rubbish and the beer in the pubs we went to was terrible and uninspiring. It was a dire day out.
My Cat and I won't be going back in a hurry.

Free Bread

Just goes to show how weird Derby is.
I've never been given a free loaf of bread before now, that is until I came to Derby.
Now all I've got to do is find the free butter.

Whoosh!

This isn't much to look at admittedly but it is the view from the Leicester to Derby train that I'm on at the moment.
I'll blog something a little more interesting in a short while.

I See A Ikea

This was the view from Coventry's Ikea store last night. It was looking like this was the only place I'd be visiting this weekend but I think that I may be getting on a train in an hour or so.

Yopadopadoo!

What's better than a nice bottle of Yop for my lunch?
The answer is two bottles.
It was a nice suprise to find that Tesco was doing a buy one get one free offer on my favourite yogurt drink.
I'm going to save the free one for tomorrow, or did I drink that one today? I suppose I'll never know.

Suck You Lent

It's amazing what you can do with two pounds and fifty pence these days.
For instance you can buy a plant pot for one pound and put a one pound fifty plant in it. That's what I did today.
I'd like to think that I'm clever for getting such a bargain but I'm probably not. It's fairly easy if you're spending your money at a car boot sale.
Maybe if I bought an actual car boot for two pounds and fifty pence them I could be considered clever.
Who knows?

Secret Cereal Session

These are Ken's cornflakes and Dave and Tom are eating them.
I'm such a grass but I think they deserve the outing.

Work On A Rest Day

My Cat and I spent our day off tidying the house. The front room in particular is a great success.
It now looks like a 1970's show home. Having spent the evening there I can say that it's a chilled out space and I'll be spending more happy evenings there.
All I need now is a kipper tie, and maybe a herring aid.

New Flow Creature

I think that I've worked out how Flow works. For every level that you complete you get a new creature.
This is the latest that I've got a picture of. The next time I play it'll be with a fish type thing.
I'll post a new picture soon.

The Ritual

Every Wednesday after drinking in Browns my friend and I go here for our supper.
I don't know why I haven't blogged this before but I feel happier for letting you know this information.
I've finished eating my supper now and I'm off to bed feeling as full as a badger.

First Outing

As promised I managed to get out with Grim Red for the first time this year.
I feel OK but tomorrow will be a different story.

Hot Cab

Today's view on the MikiStrange notice board is another lay-by picture.
I've got my hi-vis vest blocking out the sunshine but my van's cab is still hot.
I'm going to have a rest now because I plan to go cycling tonight. It'll be the first time in a long time.

Bosworth Breakfast

After a quick burger at the nearby carboot it was time to get a proper late breakfast in Market Bosworth.
My cat and I are at Square One Bistro and very nice it is too.

Bank Holiday Projections

I've finaly managed to set up my projector and a screen.
I'm planning on spending a fair portion of the bank holiday in front of the screen playing games and watching movies.
I might have square eyes by Tuesday.

The Weather

Obsessed with the weather as we British are I thought this post's picture should show one of the fine cloud formations that we experience. It seems that sometimes our obsession extends only to what comes out of the sky and not what's in the sky.
Next time you're outside look up. What you see might make you smile, whatever the weather.

Jump Leads

Halfords opens in about five minutes. Hopefully they have the jump leads that I need.
If they don't I'm in trouble.
