Rotterdam

Here I am in Rotterdam. It's a cool city with much more to offer than any other Dutch city.
We're finding new stuff to do every day, new places to explore.
My Cat is having the best birthday ever and that makes me very happy.
I'll catch you soon, another smoke is well overdue.

One Week

Only one week to go. This time next week I'll be safely tucked up in bed at my sister's house dreaming about a fish.
I've been searching through Google Earth and memorising the layout of Rotterdam and Spiedam so that I can take My Cat shopping. I've located V&D so that breakfast is easy to find.
My Dutch is as shaky as ever but I'm going to put in a lot of effort this week as some of the new phrases I have learned will be more than useful.
I'm taking my trusty ThinkPad with me so I should post here at least once before I leave the Netherlands.

My Cat and I are off to the Netherlands in three weeks time and it's going to be good.
I'll be blogging from our hotel in Rotterdam so keep your eyes peeled for some fine double dutch.

In Between

So here I am, in between xmas and New Year. I really should be watching crap TV and finishing off beer and JD but I'm in Browns waiting for the call to change a barrel or something. Funny thing is that it's more of the same tomorrow. I was looking forward to kicking back.
Oh well, there's always next year and My Cat and I are off to the Netherlands in about four weeks where there may well be a lot of kicking back.
I'll just have to look forward to that.

Here He Is

This is the picture you've all been waiting for, this The Strangecoach.
He's my new travel buddy and he's been doing a great job of getting me to work this last week. In return I've been tinkering under the bonnet and today I gave him a nice drink of Redex too.
If you see us having fun on the roads give us a wave or jump aboard, there's a comfy sofa in the back.
(That sounds pervy but it's not!)
