Long Live Power Cuts

Trust me on this one.
When tech finally disappears up its own arse I'll be sitting there in the candle light applauding. All everyone ever needed was a Moleskine notebook, a pencil and a graphite stick. Using our available talents we can record anything we want to. Some recordings will be better than others to start with but we'll all get the hang of it and then it's down to personal taste as far as style goes.
What would I rather live without? My tech or my non-tech?
The tech can disappear any time it likes.

All Wrong

Firstly. Whoever went to the stock photo site and chose this image needs to apply for treatment of some kind.
Secondly. The young beautiful people wouldn't be having so much fun with a sandwich they just bought from a petrol station. Unless they were on drugs. Like the graphic designer that used this image.
Thirdly. At least it was a nice sandwich. Might have been a bit too much vinegar in there but I didn't mind.

Lazy Evening

I haven't done much this evening.
I ate some chips and watched a DVD. I should spend more evenings like this.
It does me good.

Stiff

I personally really like this track.
It was written for a friend and has had many changes because of time and tide.
This track exists in my head as a permanent reminder of a friend and the wonderful mind that is still feeding and inspiring me.
Here's to a new future and its soundtrack.

Sick As A Mik

I was looking forward to this weekend.
I had spent most of last week being a designated driver and running people around. I covered hundreds of miles and on Friday night I had a bottle of wine with my name on.
On Friday morning I got into my truck as usual but the recently installed air freshener was overpowering and by lunchtime I had a bit of a sore throat. When I got back to base I threw the offending article away. My sore throat didn't disappear as quickly but I thought it wouldn't last. I went home and enjoyed my wine and after having something to eat I went to bed.
By 5am Saturday morning I was sweating and coughing and generally feeling pretty awful, luckily I managed to get back to sleep. As it happened I spent the whole of Saturday in bed feeling like someone had given me a good kicking in the kidneys.
I finally got out of bed at midday today still feeling battered. Although I don't feel as bad as yesterday I'm still not 100%.
I'm hoping this little bout of sickness is at most a 48hr stint. More than that I'm hoping that my kidneys recover some time soon. They've been working overtime.
